Anti-tobacco

Description:
Anti-tobacco ad sponsored by the American Legacy Foundation and the Entertainment Industry Foundation, featuring Phil Stern, a known Hollywood photographer. Text: "I wish my generation had known the facts. There's nothing glamorous about smoking. The End." "When I photographed celebrities of Hollywood's Golden Era, the world was a different place. People smoked just about everywhere...in their offices, elevators, airplanes and even when being photographed. Like many others in my generation who smoked, I'm paying the dearest price, struggling with emphysema. I can't erase the cigarettes from my work anymore than I can erase them from my era. I can only urge a new generation to seek out all the facts available today. For more information about ways to quit, visit americanlegacy.org"
